Each Monday, we comb through 1000’s of pages of meeting agendas to tell you what your local governments are doing & what you can do about it.
OUR REPORTING
On Wednesdays, we send you our most recent work. Whenever we write, whatever we write, we start with the most impacted. That means asking people how policies impact them, not just asking our leaders what they think about the policies. We tell your story, not the stories of the powerful.
WIDE RANGE
On Fridays, we give you a fun rundown of the news in our region so you can stay up to date.
How you can join the cause
RANGE is worker-owned. We don’t have a millionaire (and definitely not a billionaire) owner, so what we publish is in our hands.
RANGE is free to everyone because we believe information that’s crucial to democracy shouldn’t be hidden behind a paywall or limited to those who can pay.
RANGE is powered by the people. We’re accountable to our community and only our community because we rely on people like you to voluntarily pay a little each month or year to support us. We call it a membership, similar to NPR or PBS.
If you don’t have the means to support RANGE financially, it’s okay! You can still read and listen to 100% of our content for free. And if you like it, you can support us by sharing our work with your friends and family and helping get the word out however you can.
